Octavius, unlike most other apologies, is a true work of literature. It was written by Mark Minucius Felix, somwhere between A.D. 150 to 210. Unfortunately we know little about him, other than he was a Roman lawyer and orthodox Christian. The defense of Christianity he presents is truly inspiring.
